Purchased by soft-surface technology leader Crypton, Inc. in 2013, Nanotex is headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, MI with operations across the United States, Asia, India and Europe. To date, more than 80 textile mills worldwide are utilizing Nanotex treatments in products sold by more than 100 leading brands Worldwide.

Executive Profiles

Lance Keziah is the Chief Executive Officer of The Crypton Companies.

Lance joined the Crypton family in 2005 with a strong heritage in automotive textiles. Since then, he has become immersed in the contract market, expanding Crypton’s presence in healthcare, hospitality, education and government as well as residential opportunities.

Lance is involved in Crypton’s global expansion and alliances and continues to oversee the sales efforts domestically and abroad.

He also is involved in numerous trade organizations in the many Crypton business segments. Lance is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He also is active in the industry association, NADFD.

Prior to joining Crypton, Lance was associated with industry giants, Collins & Aikman and Mastin Associates.

An avid golfer, Lance attended Lenoir-Rhyne College on a golf scholarship and graduated with a degree in Business Administration, with an International Marketing focus.

He and his wife reside in Birmingham, Michigan with their three children and family dogs.

John Azzopardi is the Chief Financial Officer of The Crypton Companies.

John joined Crypton in 2017 after serving as Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of the Crestmark Equipment Finance division of Crestmark Bank. In his role at Crestmark, John oversaw the accounting, tax, credit and treasury functions for the division.

John joined TIP Capital in 2003 and served as its Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and was instrumental in negotiating the sale of TIP Capital to Crestmark. He has more than 35 years of experience in the information technology and financial services industries. Prior to joining TIP Capital, John was the Chief Financial Officer for NuTechs, an information technology consulting company. Prior to NuTechs, he spent more than 10 years with AT&T Capital in various financial roles, including chief financial officer of AT&T Capital Test Equipment and Rental Division; and director of business planning for AT&T Capital Systems Leasing. John has a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Walsh College, and an MBA from Wayne State University.

John is a long-time resident of Clarkston, Michigan. He is married with 2 adult children. He is a past president and sits on the board of Oakhurst Golf and Country Club. John is an avid golfer, sports photographer and runner.

Kelvin joined Nanotex in 2007 as Technical Director overseeing worldwide quality assurance and mill technical transfer. In recognition of his many accomplishments, Kelvin was promoted to head all global R&D and technical operations in 2009.

Prior to joining Nanotex, Kelvin was most recently General Manager of the R&D department at Bondex International Textiles, a leading manufacturer of innovative textile products for brands from LL Bean to Polo Ralph Lauren. In addition to his textile engineering and manufacturing experience, Kelvin also has significant academic and research experience having been a professor and run the department of textile chemistry at the Wuhan Institute of Textile Science & Technology, as well having been published in numerous scientific textile journals and publications.

Kelvin holds a Ph.D. from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as a M.S. and B.S. in textile chemistry from the Beijing Institute of Chemical Fiber Technology.
